About wet areas. Vinyl is often the right answer for laundries and bathrooms, but that depends on the specific product, the subfloor and the installation method, not on it being vinyl. Water resistance varies between ranges, so ask Andersens to confirm the product before you commit to it for a wet area.

Vinyl comes in more formats than most flooring types, and the format changes both the look and how the floor goes down.
Timber-look
Luxury vinyl plank
A term used for plank products with more developed visual design, texture or construction. Specifications differ range to range: thickness, surface layer and installation method are not the same across everything labelled LVP.
Often shortened to LVP
Sheet vinyl
Supplied in wide rolls rather than planks, so there are fewer joins across a floor. Often chosen for laundries, utility spaces and value-focused renovations.

Loose lay
Designed to sit in place with minimal or no adhesive, depending on the product. Whether it suits your room depends on product guidance, room size and site conditions.

Glue-down
Adhered directly to the subfloor. Subfloor preparation matters more here, because imperfections underneath can show through in the finished surface.
