None of this is required. It just means your consultant can spend the visit on advice rather than on working out the basics.
- Clear a path to the areas being measured, so nothing has to be guessed.
- Decide roughly which rooms are in and which are out for now.
- Save any colours, styles or product pages you have liked.
- Have a think about how each room actually gets used day to day.
- Pets and small children who use the space.
- Any moisture, subfloor or level issues you already know about.
- Plans or floor plans if the home is being renovated or built.
- Anyone else who needs to be part of the decision.

Before you book
Is the measure and quote really free?
Yes. There is no cost for the visit and no obligation to proceed once you have the quote.
How long does the appointment take?
Most appointments run for around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how many rooms you are having measured.
Do you bring samples?
Yes. Your consultant brings samples relevant to what you are considering so you can see them in your own home rather than under showroom lighting.
Where do you service?
Andersens has stores across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Adelaide. Enter the address you want measured and the enquiry goes to the store nearest you. You can also find your local store first.
Do I need to be home for the appointment?
Someone who can make decisions about the space needs to be there. The consultant measures, asks how each room is used and talks through the options, so it works best as a conversation.
Can you quote for window furnishings as well as flooring?
Yes. Mention both in the notes on the form and the consultant will cover flooring and window furnishings in the one visit.
What if I have not decided on a product yet?
That is the usual starting point. Come with a shortlist or with nothing at all, and your consultant will narrow it down with you based on the room and how it is used.
Can I book if I am renovating and the rooms are not ready?
Yes. Tell us what stage the work is at in the project notes. Your consultant can advise on what needs to be settled before a final measure is taken.
