What sets us apart
Dave brings more than 25 years of experience in the flooring industry. Before opening Andersens, he successfully operated his own flooring installation business for many years. His expertise spans everything from everyday flooring installations to complex staircases, herringbone and chevron patterns, and challenging commercial projects.

Our team helps simplify the process and takes the time to understand how the space will be used, what the customer wants to achieve and what will work within their budget.

We are proud to be part of the Wagga Wagga community and believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We sponsor local basketball, touch football and soccer teams and support local schools and community groups. We also proudly support Ronald McDonald House, Little Wings, BrAshA-T and Toot’s Journey, as well as getting behind local fundraising events and initiatives whenever we can.
Dave Smit is our go-to problem solver, flooring expert and commercial quoter, particularly renowned for stairs, herringbone and chevron installations. Ange Smit oversees business operations, customer experience, marketing and the day-to-day running of the store. Jordan Wood is our Sales Manager, Ashley Fletcher is a Sales Consultant, Jarrod Thorne is our Lead Installer and Damian Whitton is our Apprentice Flooring Installer. Our focus on people is reflected in the team culture we have built and our recognition as 2025 Employer of Choice at the Wagga Golden Crow Awards.
